This past fall, we proudly distributed more than $42,000 in Arts and Culture Grants. Supporting local music, performing arts, arts education, and beloved community events, our CCF Board of Directors unanimously approved seven nonprofit grants. Through these grants, CCF helped bring arts and culture to life across Coronado, including supporting the replacement of Lamb's Players Theatre aging headset communication system, an essential tool that enables seamless coordination among staff and volunteers during performances and events.

The following impact updates and insights were shared by Kim Miller, Grants & Contributions Manager at Lamb’s Players Theatre.

"The grant funding, provided by CCF, supported the replacement of Lamb’s Players Theatre’s aging headset communication system, critical equipment used by Stage Management and Front of House staff. Reliable headsets ensured smooth coordination during performances, from calling cues to managing patron needs and emergencies. The project directly impacted the experience and safety of approximately 70,000 patrons annually, including Coronado residents, seniors, military-connected families, and visitors who traveled to Coronado for the arts. In 2024, more than 8,700 Coronado residents purchased tickets or merchandise, representing over 1,100 local households. By upgrading this essential system, Lamb’s Players continued to provide safe, professional, and welcoming theatre experiences at the heart of Coronado’s cultural and business district."

Kim also shared that "Since the new headset system was installed the week of March 9, 2026, Lamb’s ticketing records show that 404 Coronado households have already purchased or reserved 2,223 seats for performances supported by this equipment, including performances currently on sale through February 21, 2027."

Thank you again for CCF’s generous support of Lamb’s Players Theatre and the arts in Coronado!  We are deeply grateful."
