We are thrilled to announce two new members to the Coronado Community Foundation Board of Directors, Liz Riebe and Inge Cornejo With deep roots in Coronado and a steadfast commitment to civic engagement, they bring invaluable passion and experience to our mission.

Meet Liz:

Liz Riebe has lived in Coronado, off and on due to Navy moves, for more than 25 years and is proud to call Coronado home. A military spouse and longtime Coronado resident, she and her husband Peter have raised their family here, with two children graduating from Coronado High School, and their youngest, currently a junior at CHS.

Liz has been actively involved in the Coronado community for many years, working at various non-profits, and recently serving as Coronado High School PTO President. Liz has been on numerous school committees, and is on the board of NOSC (Naval Officer Spouses Club) Charities Committee. 

Liz is excited to continue giving back to the community she loves, as a new board member of the Coronado Community Foundation.

Meet Inge:

Inge Cornejo moved to Coronado at the age of eight, where she grew up and graduated from Sacred Heart, Francis Parker, and the University of San Diego and after went back to school to get her certificate as a Medical Assistant/ Phlebotomist. 

After getting married, Inge lived in Mexico, Houston, and Spain before returning to San Diego with her three children. She has called Coronado home again for the past 16 years, where her parents and siblings also continue to live.

A dedicated community volunteer, Inge has been involved with several local organizations as a board member, advisor, and committee chair, including SAFE, Coronado MainStreet, FOCUS, school PTOs, and CCF. She served as PTO President at Village Elementary School and held hospitality roles at Coronado Middle School and Coronado High School. She has also been actively involved in youth sports, serving as a team parent, scorekeeper, and volunteer, and is a member of the Coronado High School Baseball Board.

Inge enjoys bringing people together through community events, hospitality and fundraising and is excited to be part of the CCF Board.
