A Call for Volunteers!

The Coronado Community Foundation needs volunteer drivers to add to our popular Seniors A GoGo Free Ride Service.
Each week, we are adding registered seniors to the Coronado Seniors A Go-Go program, and the response is growing.
Through our partnership with ElderHelp of San Diego, Coronado volunteer drivers are matched with Coronado seniors who need a FREE ride to a medical appointment, social engagement, or even a shopping outing.
Currently, we have 15 registered volunteer drivers and over 35 seniors registered (or in the process of registering), with more calling each day.
Please tell your friends and colleagues that we are recruiting more volunteer drivers.

Volunteer Driver Qualifications are:
Over 18 year of age.
DMV check
Background check
Application
Volunteer Orientation
Volunteers are encouraged to do at least 1-2 rides per month. Once registered and cleared, volunteers will receive a welcome email with a link to the portal where rides are posted, and you can click to accept a ride with ease. ElderHelp reimburses mileage for each and every ride.Help us make a senior’s day by providing a ride and a smile.
