Is my gift tax-deductible? Yes, your gift is 100% tax-deductible. Tax receipts will be issued by The Coronado Community Foundation, a registered 501(c) (3) organization. EIN # 85-2982760

What is the deadline to make a donation to this initiative? This campaign will run through December 31, 2025
Is there a minimum credit card donation amount for this initiative? No, there is no minimum donation. You will be invited to cover the cc fees, but it is not required.
Can I make my gift in honor of a friend or loved one? Yes, the gift can be in honor of a friend or loved one. Simply add a note in the acknowledgment/dedication field.
Can I choose the designation for the gift? The choice of causes is available upon making your donation - select from the dropdown menu on the donation form.
Is this the first year for Coronado Gives Campaign? Yes, the Coronado Eagle & Journal and the Coronado Times have agreed to partner for the first time to sponsor a collective giving campaign for the families in Coronado. CCF is the host and managing non-profit for the campaign.
Can you accept an employer match for my donation? Yes, your employer may match your donation to Coronado Gives. Please contact info@ccfcoronado for inquiries.
How much of my donation goes directly to the charities? The Coronado Eagle & Journal and the Coronado Times are donating their ad space and written content as part of the campaign. CCF will only reimburse credit card fees and nominal admin fees (approx 2%) so that 98% or more of your donation will go to the cause you choose above.
I did not receive a receipt or tax acknowledgement for my donation. Contact info@ccfcoronado.com to receive a copy of your tax receipt.
Will my contact information be shared? No, the Coronado Community Foundation does not share or sell personal contact information. CCF will store mailing information and email addresses to issue proper tax receipts.
