Happy New Year to you and your families. We hope and trust your 2026 is off to a great start.
We are grateful to share that our end-of-year Champion Coronado campaign raised $73,450, just shy of our $75,000 goal. This incredible result reflects the generosity and commitment of our community, and we are deeply thankful to everyone who contributed. These gifts help grow partner-led programs like our Exceptional Families Program and Neighbors in Need initiatives, support Arts & Culture through our grant funding, and promote the Preservation and Enhancement of our beloved Coronado.
*Donations received before January 31 will be included in our annual report as a “Champion Donor.”
January 2026 Updates!
Exceptional Families: A community where we can be our best selves...
Exceptional Families kicks off 2026 with a larger, more connected community and increased volunteer engagement. Through funding from CCF and Friends of the Library, the Exceptional Families Program invites individuals with special needs and their families to gather monthly for fun and connection. Check out the cover and lead article in the January Coronado Magazine. Read more here.

Coronado Seniors Association, ElderHelp of San Diego, and CCF get the wheels underway!

With the help of the Coronado Senior Association and through a partnership with ElderHelp of San Diego, we proudly launched the Coronado Seniors A Go Go FREE ride service in November 2025. We have over 38 volunteers who have signed up to drive or provide support to our older adult population in Coronado. The word is spreading with our 60+ community. They can access free transportation to medical visits, social engagements, and personal appointments with 7 days' notice and a max one-way ride of 30 miles.
If you or your neighbor would like to register for a free ride or sign-up to be a volunteer, please send an email to info@ccfcoronado.org or visit our Neighbors in Need page on our website: ccfcoronado.org.
If you’d like more information about the Coronado Community Foundation, please contact us, we'd love to connect.
